I was super excited to drink this wine the moment it arrived.

Despite my being predominantly a white wine drinker, I had only experienced L’Ecole No. 41 red wines until stocking the semillon and the chenin blanc at Redneck Wine Co.

Being the third winery in Walla Walla Valley, L’Ecole No. 41 has established themselves as top notch winemakers that focus on terroir and quality handcrafted wine. On top of that, they’re also leading the charge of Washington State sustainable farming!

Upon opening this 86% Semillon  14% Sauvignon Blanc, a pleasingly gentle floral aroma welcomes you.  The palette is round and gracefully acidic, where the body structure is full, yet quite refreshing.  Staying consistent with my general preference,  I highly suggest drinking this slightly chilled, as this wine is quite subtle.

This wine is a natural try for those who lean towards classic white Bordeaux blends and is a great move for sauvignon blanc drinkers who are feeling a bit explorative. Enjoy!
