In our last stop in Bordeaux, we checked out a few Saint-Julien wines, turning to Pauillac today only impresses more. The Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron Pauillac 2010, for instance, has a nearly perfect 99 point score in which the reviewer (Jeb Dunnuck) says to 'count yourself lucky' if you can get one. That and more literal wine treasures from Pauillac are in the collection linked below. These wines are incredible, and beyond their point ratings (most 96 through 99 points, no big deal), these are some of the most prime bottles of wine in the world regardless of vintage. It only makes sense to pair them with prime rib roast or another quality grilled or lovingly roasted main course. Anyone know of any holidays or gatherings happening soon?
