The old vines in this densely planted vineyard date back 67 years. This wine has great concentration, tannins and juicy red fruits. Its structure emphasizes the straightforward character of Nuits-St.-Georges, so it will take time to mature.

Winemaker Notes

This wine is from three different parcels located north of Nuits-St.-Georges, on the Vosne-Romanée side: La Charmotte, Aux Chouillets St. Julien and Les Argillats. Each of these parcels' vines are more than 60 years old. Fruit is all hand harvested.

Long, gentle pressing of fruit. Native yeast fermentation and full malolactic fermentation. Aged for 14 months in 40% new French oak barriques. Zero fining.

Blend: 100% Pinot Noir
