The 2019 Gattinara Tre Vigne is another attractive wine in this range. It is done in a more forward style than the other wines in the lineup, presenting a touch more new oak sweetness. Macerated cherry, kirsch, new leather, herbs and a kiss of oak all grace this supple, wonderfully expressive Gattinara. Best of all, the 2019 will drink well with minimal cellaring. It’s a wine of pure pleasure that retains a link to the classic style favored here.

Winemaker Notes

Bright ruby red colour with orange reflections, attracting the eye with its delicate transparency. An elegant flavour refined in its balance, its taste is played on freshness and superb tannic extraction. A long and tasty finish characterised by a savoury aftertaste.

Balsamic sensation of cloves, liquorice, cinchona and iron traces. A fruity sequence of cherry, strawberry and vegetable notes.

Recommended aging from 3 to 15 years, but this wine will easily maintain its integrity for years following.
