The 2020 Lorchhäuser Seligmacher Riesling is deep, rich and intense on the nose that shows ripe and concentrated fruit. Pure and crystalline but rich and lush on the palate, this is a full-bodied, dense and intense Seligmacher that wasn't fermented to fully dry but is full of tension, mineral grip and salts. A fascinating wine that needs years to show its very best. It's still in its baby shoes. 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted from AP 6 21 in November 2021.
