From the Cucurullo family's gorgeous, self-sustaining farm in Caltanisetta comes this fresh, fruity, and certified organic Nero d'Avola. Ripe blackberry and dusty bramble are joined by plum, Mediterranean cherry, and black olive on the nose. With medium-light body, the palate offers plenty of ripe fruit underpinned by smooth, sweet tannins. And, importantly, the estate's high altitude guarantees cooler evenings even in the hottest of summers, lending extra intelligence and acidic backbone to this small-batch, Sicilian classic.
