Also not yet bottled, the 2020 Gigondas Selection Parcellaire is the same 60/40 split of Grenache and Syrah that was 30% destemmed and is aging in foudre and used demi-muids. Lots of sappy red fruits, sandalwood, garrigue, and white pepper notes define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, has a focused, elegant mouthfeel, and outstanding balance. It's a terrific wine in the making.

Winemaker Notes

The beautiful vines in this blend give themselves away in a pretty deep purple color, exuding a powerful nose of red fruits with a few touches of marmalade on a generous background supported by a rich spicy complexity. The powerful mouth is rich, with graceful and distinguished tannins. It blossoms on a finish revealing delicate empyreumatic and woody aromas.
