Winemaker Notes

A red combining the two most important black varieties of the island. Selected parcels of Mandilaria and Mavrotragano, sourced from relatively young vines, sixty year old or younger, co-macerated for a short time and fermented in stainless steel at relatively cool temperatures. Maturation lasts fifteen months, in stainless steel tanks. Atlantis Red is the Argyros red that is not intended for long ageing, ready to be enjoyed on release, but can develop complexity for up to five years after vintage.

Fruit-forward, with a smooth, spicy and toasted background, which comes from the small percentage of Mavrotragano.

Blend: 90% Mandilaria, 10% Mavrotragano
