This is really dense and rich with green papaya, apple and lemon character. Full body, flavorful and persistent. Gorgeous. One of the best Arneis in memory.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The Bruno Giacosa 2015 Roero Arneis is a mineral-driven and beautifully fresh white wine that would taste great on a warm summer evening. The wine sports a luminous golden color that seems slightly more intense in this vintage. The bouquet offers citrus, peach, dried sage and crushed oyster shell. In the mouth, the wine is tangy and crisp. Rating: 90+
Its delicate skin makes it one of the most recalcitrant varieties in Piedmont. Native to Roero, this grape was on the brink of near-extinction by the 1970s. Thanks to houses such as Vietti and the legendary Bruno Giacosa, it is still here for your enjoyment. Salute!
