Garnet red with black fruits, cassis, blackberries, blueberries, elderberries, black pepper, licorice and a touch of wood. Elegant attack on ripe fruit, powerful mid-palate with tannins of good quality, long and spicy finish with hints of dark chocolate. Blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon and 44% Merlot.
"Les Brulières de Beychevelle” is the Beychevelle wine coming from the 12 hectares located just south of Saint-Julien. The vineyard belongs to Château Beychevelle. Vineyard management and winemaking is carried out by the same Château Beychevelle team head by Mr. Philippe Blanc. Brulières is a stand-out classic Bordeauwine rivaling most of the better Bourgeois wines.
