91pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2018 La Clape La Cote is loaded with sexy raspberry fruit, spiced up with hints of green peppercorn, pomegranate and orange zest. A tank-aged blend of Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, it's medium-bodied and very drinkable despite weighing in at 14.5% alcohol. The tannins are ripe and silky, adding just the right amount of texture to this fluid, easy-drinking red. Drink it over the next few years.- Joe Czerwinski

An entry level blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan brought up in tank, the 2018 Cuvée De La Côte offers a juicy, delicious style that carries plenty of sweet dark fruits and peppery herb aromas and flavors. It’s beautifully balanced, hard to resist, and ideal for enjoying over the coming couple of years. (Jul 2019)
This wine is medium bodied but lush like smooth velvet with flavors of ripe blueberry mushroom and black pepper. Light enough to pair with white meat but bold enough to hold up to a T-bone this is an excellent go to that can be drunk now or in 4 years. Varietals: Carignan Syrah Grenach Mourvedre. Aged in 50% wooden vats and 50% concrete vats for 30 days.
