90pts James Suckling
A fresh and vivid red with plenty of bright acidity and firm tannins. Tight and focused. Tangy and delicious, already.
Very beautiful color, steady and deep. A first intense nose of soaked red berries reveals then some spicy notes of clove. The attack is very round. The mouth is ample, supported by very ripe tannins. It is a Medoc of character which will seduce the amateurs of traditional wines of Medoc and will also know how to draw the attention of the consumers been used to round "joy" wines. It matches perfectly on a veal stew.
Blend: 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 80% Merlot
