Deep red color with purplish hints, it soon evokes scents of marasca cherry, plum jelly and dark chocolate. On the nose, as in the mouth, it keeps unchanged the same flavors, which are enriched by a morbid and enchanting tannin. The olfactory hints remind of marasca cherry.
This wine is ideal for savory first courses, red meats, cheese and cured meats.
Grapes are picked and carried to the cellar to be destemmed, pressed and put into thermo-conditioned steel fermenters. Selected yealts are then added. The maceration is at controlled temperature and lasts for 10 days. At the end, a soft pressing is made. After a short natural setting the wine is put into steel containers for about six months. Then it is bottled.
