There is a whiff of the exotic in the form of pineapple wisps that combine with notes of acacia blossom and various white-fleshed fruit aromas. The lush and opulent yet relatively refined medium-bodied flavors possess slightly better mid-palate density, all wrapped in a youthfully austere but not quite as dry finale. This isn't classically styled but there's clearly more here. Barrel Sample: 90-93

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières was showing well, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, citrus oil, nutmeg and warm pastry, followed by a medium to full-bodied, racy and nicely defined palate that's long and intense. Barrel Sample: 91-93
