Jérôme has proven himself with this cuvée, which in recent vintages has been a stellar 'entry-level' wine. The 2018 vintage does not disappoint in this regard. Tasted twice. From the first bottling, the bottle opened the day before my visit, this has a softer and more floral nose, but presents a delicate, pencil-fine style on the palate, with a lightly chalky structure. From the second bottling, which was completed just ten weeks after the first, the bottle opened on the day of tasting, this presents a darker and more savoury character, with nuances of dried cherry skin. The palate follows up in a very soft, polished and plump fashion, overall a very easy and accessible style. There is a fine grip beneath it, but the focus here is certainly the fruit. Lovely finish too. This is another exceptionally good domaine cuvée. 93/100 (11/2019)  Chris Kissack

The name of the wine with its reference to cherries perfectly describes this crisp, cherry-flavored wine. It is all fruit, perfumed, fresh and crisply textured. Drink now. ROGER VOSS

Winemaker Notes

Raspberry and other red fruits on the nose with a discreet note of sweet spices. The palate is expressive with freshness, very rounded tannins and clean texture. The wine forms a beautiful whole, very easy at first. He made a good match with a duck breast. (11/2019)
