91pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2016 Bourgogne Pinot Noir Selection Pomone includes two barrels of Ladoix premier cru this year because of the frost damage, destemmed with a longer maceration on the skins and 10% new oak (demi-muids). It has an attractive, very pure and quite floral bouquet. The palate is ripe on the entry with tart red cherry and crushed strawberry and fine structure on the finish that is easily village cru level. This is fast becoming one of the hidden gems of Pommard and the 2016 is equal to the outstanding 2015.
