92pts James Suckling
Very bright aromas of red apples, tart peaches, lime zest and lemon balm that fill out the sleek and muscular body beautifuly. The very crisp, mineral finish pulls you back into the wine's tight orbit. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
91pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2019 Rheingau Riesling Trocken offers a clear, flinty, stunningly intense, ripe and concentrated but refreshing lemony bouquet with delicate flinty aromas. Medium to full-bodied, this is an intense yet frisky, perfectly round and balanced Riesling with ripe, piquant, well-integrated acidity that is not really soft but truly ripe and fine, even playful. In fact, the wine has 8.8 grams per liter of total acidity with 8.9 residual sugar, but that's just analytics. This is a gorgeous wine with stunning extract yet a moderate 12.2% alcohol. Bottled at the end of March, tasted at the end of May 2020. Drink Date: 2020 - 2030
Fruity and complex, with apple & peach flavours, dry finish
