Freddo is what we call a “chillable red”. That is to say a red wine that can, and should, be enjoyed chilled. Freddo (Italian for cold), is a perfect example. Sangiovese grapes grown in California and made with Carbonic maceration - a process of extracting juice and color while leaving some of the harsher tannins behind. Throw this guy in the fridge for about an hour before popping the cork and enjoy at your next barbeque!
Tastes like fresh cranberry, montmorency cherries, strawberry jello shooters.
Blend: 79% Sangiovese, 16% Dolcetto, 5% Valdiguié
