94pts Wine Spectator

Offers a rich and lusciously spicy aroma, with flavors to match, as well as a deep core of cherry compote, berry, currant and red plum accents that glide across the palate. Unctuous midpalate, featuring a long, cream-filled finish. Drink now through 2026.

91pts Jeb Dunnuck

Coming from a vineyard in the Fort Ross-Seaview region of the Sonoma Coast, the 2017 Pinot Noir Camp Meeting Ridge was destemmed and spent 14 months in 28% new French oak. Bright Bing cherry, sappy herbs, violets, and spring flower notes all emerge from the glass, and it's a more focused, linear, edgy Pinot Noir that shows the vintage. It should benefit from short-term cellaring (1-2 years) and keep nicely through 2029. Rating: 91+

Winemaker Notes

With power, elegance and structure, the 2017 Camp Meeting Ridge Pinot Noir is a perfect expression of the far west Sonoma Coast. Aromas of plum, raspberry, bergamot and hibiscus mingle with forest floor and sea breeze aromas. The palate is firmly structured with red fruits, black tea and mineral notes with bright acidity and a long, savory finish.
