Germán Bruzzone ferments this tannat in cement, then ages it in a mix of French oak barrels and casks, creating a clean, austerely tannic red that lightens up and feels coastal in the end. It’s frisky with turmeric and green-peppercorn scents, lasting on meaty dark fruit. Structured and savory, this will age well over the next several years, or decant it now for a salad of duck confit.

A ripe blackberry aroma mixes with a touch of saline on the nose. The palate of this Tannat from a benchmark vintage is ripe and full in feel. Blackberry jam and spice flavors are ripe and satisfying, while this is warm and complete on the finish.
Deep purple in color, this Tannat fresh aromas reminiscent of red and black fruits such as plums and raspberries on a spice-flavoured aroma. It has a great personality in mouth. Its ripe tannins and its minerality make it a terroir wine of great identity. This is an ideal Tannat to pair with roasted game meat. Its most traditional combination is with simmered lamb's leg with salvia, mint and garlic dipped in olive oil.
