The\u003cbr\u003etemperate weather throughout September, October and into November allow for\u003cbr\u003emaximum hang-time, leading to exceptional quality. We began harvest on October 21st\u003cbr\u003eand ended on November 4th, allowing our old vines to fully ripen the fruit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTasting Notes\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur 2019 Old Vine Zinfandel comes from the oldest vines in Howell Mountain planted\u003cbr\u003eprior to prohibition. In 2018, the fruit was nearly perfect, showcasing classic old vine spice\u003cbr\u003ewith the structure of mountain fruit. On the nose, this wine produces a melody of fruit\u003cbr\u003estarting with red cherry notes leading to darker black cherry notes followed by a layer of\u003cbr\u003ewhite spice.
