93pts James Suckling
Aromas of cherries and hints of orange peel follow through to a full body, round and chewy tannins and a rich and flavorful finish. Tannic yet soft and round. Concentrated character. Needs two or three years to come completely together.
Rich, nostril-flaring nose with forceful, spicy aromatics; a big, ripe and full-bodied style with juicy black fruit flavours ferrying onto a warm, toasty and spicy finish. Will develop further..October/2017
Bright red. Delicate strawberry and minerals on the nose. Then fresh and juicy, with vibrat acidity lifting the bright red berry and floral flavors. Finishes long with zingy acid bite and a lovely floral quality.

The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is evolving quickly and tastes older than its real age. I would not suggest a long drinking window for this near-term Sangiovese. Dried cherry and fig segue to smoke, tar and cured leather. The wine glides quickly over the palate leaving little lasting intensity.
Aromas of tobacco, leather and a hint of black plum lift out of the glass. The solid tightly packed palate offers prune, vanilla and clove alongside assertive tannins. Drink after 2023. KERIN O’KEEFE
A ruby red color with light garnet reflection.Ample, complex, intense, with wild berries on the palate.Full-bodied and persistent, light tannins, soft, harmonic and structured
