91pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2014 Larose-Trintaudon has a stylish bouquet, well defined and quite minerally with blackberry and wild strawberry scents to the fore. The palate is well balanced, clean and pure with real vibrancy and joie-de-vivre. It builds nicely in the mouth and gains more and more precision towards the sophisticated finish. Bravo -- this is a superb Haut-Médoc that will drink beautifully for the next 10 years, possibly more. Tasted September 2016.
91pts Wine Enthusiast
One of the largest vineyards in the Médoc and just outside Pauillac, this estate is also one of the most reliable. This vintage is finely structured with just the right amount of tannin to support the black and red-berry fruits. Fruity and juicy, it should be ready to drink from 2020.
Dark ruby colour with some crimson reflections, still very young. Nose of dark chocolate, mocha, very indulgent. The palate is powerful with tight and very precise tannins. Very good length with a remarkable aromatic persistence. Very great purity overall. To be decanted 1 hour before tasting.
