90pts Wine Enthusiast - Sean Sullivan

Blue fruit, milk chocolate and mint aromas are followed by sumptuous, rich, layered blue and red fruit flavors. Coffee notes linger on the finish.  It’s thoroughly delicious — a big-time value at this price.

Winemaker Notes

Frenchtown shows complex, rich aromas with wild berries and black cherry, accented by savory dried sage and thyme, tobacco, underpinned by a sweet leather note. The generous, dark fruit flavors remain focused through a dry finish.

Frenchtown, Walla Walla Valley’s first settlement, was founded by French Canadians in the early 1800s. A thriving viticulture and wine making community was established in the Valley by the 1860s. This Frenchtown wine salutes these pioneers. With the highest quality in mind, this blend offers exceptional value for its price.
