Finding top Pinot Noirs under $20 is often frustrating, but the 2016 Lincourt delivers what others are missing. This wine is well-balanced and nicely textured. Its aromas and flavors of tart cherries and savory spices should pair lovingly with grilled salmon in a piquant berry compote. (Tasted: March 17, 2019, San Francisco, CA)
Fruit forward aromatics of ripe raspberries and cherry cola that transition into a medley of dark blackberry, pomegranate, and black pepper on the palate. A nice tannin structure.
