The 2017 Zinfandel Jackass Vineyard is dark, powerful and voluptuous, with tremendous concentration and textural intensity throughout. Black cherry, plum, leather, cedar, licorice, and dried flowers all take shape in the glass. Round, succulent and flamboyant, the 2017 is bursting at the seams with character and personality.
94pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Zinfandel Jackass Vineyard has a warm yellow peach, blackberry, blueberry and black cherry-scented nose. It has concentrated, ripe, jammy fruit in the mouth, with fine, grainy tannins, good juicy acidity and a long, peachy finish.
Our 2017 Jackass Vineyard Zinfandel has aromas of black cherry, stone fruits, and coffee. The palate is very complex; layered with flavors of bold black plum, hints of baking spices, and blackberries.
