The 2018 Pinot Noir Three Sisters Vineyard is bright, focused and so finely sculpted, with gorgeous purity and tons of energy. Crushed red berries, mint, red flowers and blood orange all run through the 2018. The Three Sisters is a bit taught for a Martinelli Pinot, but all the elements are so well balanced.
93pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Aged 10 months in 59% new oak, the 2018 Pinot Noir Three Sisters Vineyard has gregarious aromas of cranberry sauce, rhubarb and blackberries with aromatic layers of smoked and peppered meats and dried floral perfume. Medium-bodied, it’s uber silky, with the expansive fruits carried by juicy acidity and tempered by amaro-like accents, finishing long and layered with classic Pinot Noir bitterness.
Our 2018 Three Sisters Pinot Noir has a fragrant nose with beautiful aromas of Montmorency cherry, sweet leather and Santa Rosa plum. Instantly mouthwatering on the entry, the balanced acidity in the palate has flavors of pomegranate and wild strawberries. It finishes long with a hint of baking spice.
