From estate-grown fruit, this is a hearty, robust expression of the variety that explodes on the palate in restless waves of ripe red cherry, black and white pepper and exotic black licorice. Powerfully concentrated, it shows a hint of lavender on the nose that invites one back again and again.
The 2017 “Vigneto di Evo” Zinfandel has fresh aromas of raspberry compote, milk chocolate, and sweet oak on the nose. Sweet entry with flavors of blueberry preserves and strawberry pie lead to supple tannins on the mid-palate and fresh pomegranate finish.
