The 2020 Fiano di Avellino is spicy and wickedly fresh, with a bouquet of dusty yellow flowers, ginger, a spritz of lime and crushed granny smith apples. This is remarkably soft and soothing on the palate, as ripe orchard fruits glide across a vibrant acid core. Minerals and pretty inner florals linger through the mouthwatering finale. What the 2020 lacks in depth, it makes up for in sheer drinkability.
Winemaker Notes
Straw yellow. This is a delicate wine, with hints of fresh fruit, almond, hazelnut, citrus fruits, herbs, white flowers, and dried flowers. On the palate, this is a full-bodied wine with light fruit and floral notes.
