Deep garnet color; fresh, dense, and generous with bright plum and spice. Juicy and long, this is a very nice wine from a longtime grower family

The 2017 Mettler Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon over-delivers. This wine is a joy on the palate. Enjoy its charming aromas and flavors of black fruit, a hint of tar, and anise with savory meat stews. (Tasted: December 19, 2019, San Francisco, CA)
91pts Wine Enthusiast
This full-bodied wine shows a deep, dark color and fresh black-fruit aromas accented by vanilla. The palate brings flavors of black cherry and black currant that fill the mouth and linger on the finish. It has that big, broad, jammy appeal of many Lodi reds.
Our 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon shows off a deep garnet color. It opens with inviting aromas of dark cherry, toast, cedar and nutmeg. The delightful blend of dark cherry and plum flavors are fresh with a whisper of vanilla. A soft and velvety mid-palate features moderate tannins and just the right amount of lifted acidity, and the long finish is reminiscent of a fine Bordeaux. This elegant and poised Cabernet is accessible now, and its structure and complexity will see it through many years of aging.
