92pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2018 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons Les Minots is showing very well, mingling aromas of crisp Anjou pear and green apple with scents of white flowers, marzipan and fresh stone fruits. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with chewy structuring extract, good precision and a stony finish.
91pts James Suckling
From a warm part of the valley, which is a heat trap. There’s a very rich and ripe set of aromas here with a core that holds good shape and length. Smooth, good density and peaches in abundance. Drink now.
Notes of grapefruit, tidal pool and white flowers precede racy, intense and overtly stony middle weight flavors that are shape by markedly citrus-tinged acidity on the dry and mildly strict finish. Some patience will be necessary as this is quite tightly wound at present. Barrel Sample: 88-91
