Beautifully balanced and nicely defined, the apple-like 2016 CrossBarn by Paul Hobbs Chardonnay shows up bright and sassy on the palate. The wine's crisp finish makes it a nice choice with clams and linguine in a light cream sauce. (Tasted: August 9, 2017, San Francisco, CA)
Daffodil yellow with aromas of Bartlett pear, yellow peach, and citrus/yellow flowers. On the palate, there are flavors of juicy pink lady apple, fresh guava, and apricot. The texture is creamy, energetic, long and salivating.
