92pts Wine Enthusiast
This powerful wine spreads rich butter and vanilla overtones across a foundation of crisp apple and lemon, while riper pear and fig flavors build on the palate and linger on the finish. A complex array of baking spices and a hint of toast add complexity and interest.

The 2017 Poseidon Vineyard Estate Chardonnay shows excellent richness while exhibiting attractive brightness. This wine offers pleasing aromas and flavors of ripe core stone fruit and oaky notes. Pair with a fresh green salad topped with grilled chicken and sliced peaches. (Tasted: March 31, 2020, San Francisco, CA)
Initially shy, the aromas of this Chardonnay blossom into pear and nectarine, supported by hints of fall spices and a touch of linoleum resin. Those same stone fruits are echoed on the palate, with a squeeze of lime and a touch of toasted brioche. A fine-grained acidity provides a counterpoint to the summer-ripe fruit, leaving a medium-long finish.
