Tasting Notes
With a very deep and black purple colour. A very concentrated and fruity aroma, with jammy, blackberries and plum notes. This is full and dark with flavours of chocolate, plum and dried figs. The great mouthfeel reveal’s all the complexity flavour of fruit, full-bodied and balanced wine soft and velvety background, a long and lasting end. A vintage wine with a great potentiality to be aged.
Winemaker's Notes
LBV is a Port wine of one single harvest, which is produced in a good quality year. Bottled between the 4th and 6th year following the harvest, in contrast with Vintage, L.B.V., and benefits by considerable ageing in oak casks. With a style derived from Vintage Port, the L.B.V., are excellent wines. They are comprised of blends of the best wines from one year.
