94pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Medium to deep garnet-purple, the 2015 Zinfandel Old Vine offers a beguiling nose of crushed blueberries, Black Forest cake and crème de cassis with hints of dried roses, licorice, incense and tilled soil. Full-bodied, rich and with wonderful purity, it has an amazing frame of ripe, grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and perfumed.

Plums, blackberries, cedary spice, and peppery herb notes all emerge from the 2015 Zinfandel Old Vine, a straight-up classic expression of this variety. More tobacco and cigar notes develop with time in the glass. It's medium to full-bodied, has plenty of tannins, and is beautifully balanced. It will keep for a decade.
93pts Wine Spectator
Thoroughly old-school, offering briary cherry aromas and evocative raspberry, cracked pepper and dusty sage flavors that finish with zesty tannins. Drink now through 2026.
90pts Wilfred Wong
One of Sonoma County's standard bearers, the 2015 Seghesio Family Vineyards Old Vine is once again at the top of its game. The wine's warm olallieberry pie and light chalky aromas and flavors make it an excellent choice with a rosemary-accent leg of lamb off of the grill. (Tasted: November 21, 2017, San Francisco, CA)
Deeply perfumed aromas of raspberry and old vine Zinfandel's intrinsic briary spiciness with layered bright fruit flavors reminiscent of a cherry pie with a graham cracker crust. Notes of old vine Zinfandel’s complex spice undertones and low yields in the vineyard preserved the vibrant natural acidity and balanced tannins through the long, persistent finish.
