92pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2015 Ségla has a deep garnet core, lucid in the glass. The nose is quite backward for a deuxième vin but gradually opens to reveal lovely blackberry and blueberry scents, just a hint of violet (there is no longer that flint-like scent I remarked upon out of barrel). The palate is medium-bodied with a plush and generous entry, very well balanced with a fine line of acidity, a vein of white pepper emerging during the second half that leaves a spicy residue after the wine has departed. On a budget? Looking for a second wine? Look no further.
The 2015 Ségla is a very pretty second wine with lovely aromatic complexity and depth. Succulent and racy, the 2015 expresses the radiant personality of the vintage nicely. Savory herb and floral touches add aromatic nuances throughout.
Fragrant, ripe and smooth with freshness and more density than expected. A fine second wine.
Tasted blind. Good fresh top note. Savoury, meat-and-two-veggie. A bit sturdy but honest. Really pretty dry on the end. (17 out if 20 points)
Deep ruby in apperance, Segla delivers aromas of blueberry and vanilla on the nose. On the palate it is medium bodied with silky tannins.
