The 2018 Chardonnay Beresini Vineyard Torchiana offers more orange blossom, toasted bread, and caramelized citrus notes as well as medium to full body, good acidity, and a dense, concentrated style. It's a little less showy at this point, but stunning, nonetheless.

This is a barrel selection of the best barrels from Beresini vineyard (planted to Hyde Selection Wente Clone), to be aged for 16 months. A barrel sample, the 2018 Chardonnay Beresini Vineyard Cuvee Torchiana bounds boldly out of the glass with gregarious notes of pineapple upside-down cake, warm apricots, Manuka honey and poached pears with hints of allspice, brioche and toasted almonds. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with bombastic tropical fruit and savory layers, framed by seamless freshness, finishing long and spicy. Lisa Perrotti-Brown
The 2018 Torchiana once again tastes like nothing else with its crushed oyster shell, sea foam and toasted brioche bread. The palate displays bees wax, lanolin, focused acidity that provide a frame to the fruit as it tails off to show lingering blooming honeysuckle.
