The Cantina Tramin 2018 Alto Adige Stoan is a blend of 65% Chardonnay, 20% Sauvignon, 10% Pinot Bianco and 5% Gewürztraminer that is aged in large oak casks for 11 months. Winemaker Willi Stürz created this signature blend to showcase the stunning potential of the Tramin village in Alto Adige. The wine is carefully measured and initially tight, showing the linearity and restraint of the Dolomites. You get aromas of citrus, white melon, star jasmine and honeysuckle. There is an exotic character to this wine that makes it so attractive.

Aromas of kiwi fruit, citrus and some green melon. It’s full-bodied with lots of spicy and steely undertones to the bright, creamy fruit and texture. Blend of chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, gewurztraminer and pinot bianco. Drink now.
The wine shows a straw color with light lemon hue. The aromas are intense yet clean and suggest hints of peaches, ripe pears and elderflower as well as tropical aromas of pineapples and mangos. The wine is fresh and gentle on the palate, with great balance and lasting intensity.
Stoan seems almost intentionally crafted to match the exotic flavors of Asian fusion cuisine and is wonderful with dishes like braised halibut in a coconut and lemon.
