Viña Bujanda produces consistently impressive, traditional style Crianzas from its expanding array of vineyards. This is fresh and appealingly scented, with gentle red fruits, some fresh tobacco notes and zesty minerality.
Dark violet. Oak-spiced cherry and dark berries, pipe tobacco and vanilla on the nose. Bitter cherry, mocha and licorice flavors turn sweeter through the mid palate. Dusty tannin's add grip to a focused finish that shows very good, spicy persistence and a touch of smokiness. Drinking window: 2022 - 2028
Aromas of blackberry with spicy tones (clove and cinnamon) from American oak, mild tobacco and light balsamic notes. The Tempranillo variety showing its typical elegance and complexity. Fresh and silky tannins, developing a great volume and structure. Long and tasty ending with an extraordinary after-nose aroma.
Pair with Medium-aged cheeses. White and red meats. Lamb, cooked fishes and stews such as tuna with potatoes, beans, and beans with partridge.
