The 2017 Chardonnay The North Slope Vineyard is another super-expressive wine in the range. In this tasting, the North Slope is oily and beautifully textured, with striking resonance and exceptional balance. It is especially viscous in 2017, and it's a style that works beautifully. This silky, creamy Chardonnay should drink well with minimal cellaring.
91pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2017 Chardonnay North Slope Vineyard opens with toast, gunflint and smoke over stone fruits, lemon peel, river rock and petrol plus fresh apple and pear fruit. It's light to medium-bodied and mineral-driven with juicy acidity and a long finish. This isn't very expressive at the moment and I wonder if this bottle is representative.
