Shipping policy

Note: as of May 4, 2026, we have recent changes in our shipping arrangements that will lead to updates over the coming days as we sort out the impact.  Updates will be made here as the revised processes are solidified.

Orders are shipped on the customer specified date or if no date, ASAP.  Exceptions are 1) orders specifying "later date" with no date indicated; 2) unfavorable weather conditions anywhere on the shipping route.  In such exceptional situations, we will coordinate timing with you.  We currently ship to all continental US states except Mississippi and Utah.  Ship-to states are subject to change as individual state regulations evolve.

Please note that you can specify a ship date with your order, but not a delivery date.  Call us if you have questions about timing.

Carrier

We ship by FedEx and UPS.  FedEx is our preference for most shipping.  Our fulfillment shipper requires using UPS for certain states.  Deliveries to business addresses are possible Monday to Friday.  Residential deliveries include Saturdays for UPS and FedEx.  In major municipanities, FedEx delivers to residences on Sunday.  Please review carrier tracking information to confirm the prospective delivery date.

Shipping Options

Standard options include ground or 2nd day to your address, or hold for later shipping. You may also use a hold/pickup site as your delivery address.  We can help you locate the nearest hold site if needed.  Other options such as overnight or priority overnight are possible with a phone call. 

During the summer, we have, and may use the option of shipping temperature controlled to handoff sites in New York, Missouri, Texas and southern California.  Currently, there is no additional charge for this service.  It does add time to the delivery, as these shipments only leave Florida on Wednesdays and must be ready for pick up at our site by Tuesday morning.  CA, NY and TX shipments  get transferred at the Missouri site.  These shipments have carrier labels applied in Florida, but the carrier will not have the package until reaching the handoff site.

Please note:  2nd day express orders will typically not be delivered on the weekend.  It's best to use this option for shipping Monday through Wednesday; next day can ship on Thursday as well.  2nd day orders placed by 3pm will typically ship the same day.  

State Specific Notes

Florida: ground shipments are normally delivered the next day; exceptions are the the Florida Keys, which are 2nd day.  Although summer weather is not optimal, we ship Florida orders through the summer.  It’s up to you to set alternative timing.  Please note, we normally ship Florida orders only Monday through Thursday.  

Alabama

Current updates are permitting shipments direct to businesses and residences.  We can now bypass the state ABC stores.  

Texas

Current updates enable door to door shipments to Texas.  During the summer months, we may leverage the same 10-20 day temp controlled path that has been used up to recently for added protection in transit.  We can now send 2nd day or overnight to Texas as well.

Rates

We have kept rates competitive.  Costs have increased over time and rates may be updated in the future, subject to competitive limits.  Current ground rates follow.

Florida:

 Order Total > $240 = First 12 bottles Free. $15 Each Additional Box
 Order Total < $240 = First 12 bottles - $15.  $15 Each Additional Box

Eastern/Central US

 Order Total > $240 = First 12 bottles - $15  $15 Each Additional Box
 Order Total < $240 = First 12 bottles - $24  $15 Each Additional Box

Western US: (AZ,CA,CO,ID,MT,ND,NM,NV,OR,SD,WA,WY)

Order Total > $240 = First 12 bottles - $25  $25 Each Additional Box
Order Total < $240 = First 12 bottles - $30  $25 Each Additional Box

Flat express rates are defined for each shipping destination and are less subsidized than ground.

Conditions

An adult over the age of 21 with a valid ID must be present to accept wine deliveries. Your tracking number will be sent to you by email upon shipment. We cannot control time-of-day for your delivery.  If your order is returned due to unavailability for delivery, additional charges will apply for reship.  Please consider shipping/redirecting to a FedEx Onsite or UPS Store when you are not able to receive your shipment at home.  Deliveries to FedEx or UPS sites should specify the carrier name in the shipping address, so we choose the correct shipping carrier.

If there are any problems with your order, either the product itself or an issue during shipping, we will do our absolute best to make sure the issues get resolved with as little inconvenience to you as possible. Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Redneck Wine Co. to the purchaser in the State of Florida and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping of it from Florida to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine via common carrier, Redneck Wine Co. is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. You will be billed for this service. By utilizing this service from Redneck Wine Co., the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.
