95pts Wine Spectator
There's bright cherry and strawberry fruit in this elegant red, along with rose, mineral and wild herb notes, plus a hint of black pepper. Harmonious and vibrant, this is fluid while cruising to the long, detailed aftertaste. Best from 2027 through 2043. B.S.
93pts James Suckling
A fine and subtle Brunello with cherries, candied watermelon, flowers and some orange peel. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity and a bright finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.
92pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The organic Camigliano 2020 Brunello di Montalcino has a more Rubenesque personality due to the warm exposures and thicker soils of this part of the appellation. The bouquet is definitely bigger in personality, with blown-up aromas of bold cherry, dark plum and spicy earth. The wine ends with young tannins and an upfront, fruit-forward approach. This is a big production of 200,000 bottles.
92pts Jeb Dunnuck
The 2020 Brunello Di Montalcino is a transparent bright red color and is ripe with aromas of strawberry preserve, candied flowers, sweet herbs, and mossy earth. Medium framed,
it's vibrant on the palate, with a linear feel, fine tannins, and bright acidity, leading with notes of orange citrus through a rather long finish and a touch of warmth. It retains good purity and energy and is very well-balanced. Drink

Lively on the nose, it recalls small red fruits, such as currants, blueberries and wild strawberries. In the background, yellow peaches, plums, green tea leaves and chamomile. On the palate, full body, integrated tannins and a slightly biting finish that will need time to relax. Better from 2026.
91pts Vinous
Woodland herbs and earth tones come together with dried black cherries as the 2020 Brunello di Montalcino opens in the glass. This splashes across the palate with ease, lifted and energetic, with wild berry fruits and perfumed inner florals riding a wave of brisk acidity. It leaves a pleasantly bitter tinge and hints of spice, tapering off with medium length and a sour cherry concentration. A nice effort, yet I crave more mid-palate depth to take it to the next level.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red wine, tending to a very lively garnet. It has an intense and persistent, ample and ethereal scent. Small ripe red fruits are highlighted together with spicy notes. On the palate the tannins are balanced and soft with an excellent aromatic persistence.
The elegance and harmonic body of the wine permit its combination with many complex and complicated dishes such as red meat, feathered and furry game also accompanied by mushrooms or truffles.
Brunello, in addition, is excellent with cheeses: aged tomes, parmesan, Tuscan pecorino. It also makes an excellent combination with meat dishes of international cuisine or with complicated sauces. Because of its characteristics, Brunello is also a pleasant meditation wine
Winery Notes
Camigliano in the past was certainly inhabited by the Etruscans who followed the course of the Ombrone River from the coastal Maremma area. It then became quite an important hamlet in the late medieval period, an outpost for Montalcino, joining in the fight to defend republican freedom in the middle of the 16th century.
