90pts Wine Enthusiast
As with many of this firm's Champagnes, Pinot Noir is the dominant grape in the blend. Named after Léonie Duchêne, one of the founders of the house, it is smooth and rich in ripe white fruit and melon flavors. Tang at the end gives a delicious lift.

About the Bubbles
A tribute to the co-founder of Maison Canard-Duchene, Cuvee Leonie is crafted in a harmonious, well-balanced style, emphasizing the freshness and orginal purity of the pinot noir grape.
Leonie Iconic Brut Champagne is a precise blend of at least 40% Pinot Noir, enhancing Montagne de Reims and Champagne terroir. Aromatic and generous, delicate layers of exotic fruit and subtle spices reveal themselves with every sip, while maintaining a structured balance.
Winemaker Notes
The Cuvée Léonie Brut is seductive and elegant. To the eye, a pale gold color. To the nose, lightly stewed yellow fruits, tropical fruits, dry flowers, and notes of gingerbread. On the palate, fresh with flavors of pineapple confit, slightly spicy, toasted flavors.
Blend: 40% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Meunier, and 25% Chardonnay.
