Vinous

Retasted after a few months, the 2016 Estate Reserve showed differently than it did previously.  It has a very menthol-driven bouquet, well defined though not ineffably complex.  The palate is balanced and nicely structured, with saturated tannins and quite a dense finish.  I am happy to raise my score for this wine. 

Winemaker Notes

This wine offers plenty of aging potential. Expect aromas of plum and cherry. Flavors of mulberry and blackcurrant leaf in the mid palate with hints of fresh herbs and rich tannins to support it all.

Blend: 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Syrah, 10% Petit Verdot, 10% Cabernet Franc
