Jean Leon 3055 Petit Verdot - Merlot 2021 is a red wine that on the nose presents bouquets reminiscent of black cherries, complemented by spiced undertones (clove, black pepper) and hints of Mediterranean aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is opulent and delightful, with a pronounced freshness. This red wine is elegant and adaptable, culminating in a lengthy and enduring finish.

It is the youthful representation of the winery's most complex reds. Made mainly with the petit verdot variety, which we have grown at Jean Leon since 2006 and with a great capacity to adapt to climate change, and a small percentage of merlot.

History

The number 3055 represents Jean Leon's (the Founder's) taxi driver's license in New York and reveals the man behind the legend, the humble origins of an idealist who achieved his dream of founding the most famous restaurant in Hollywood and making a wine with his name.

Blend: 63% Petit Verdot, 37% Merlot
