Winemaker Notes

Aromas of honey and white flowers, with a long, persistent finish. The wine is also described as having minerality and acidity. This Premier Cru wine is known for its vibrant minerality, citrus notes, and a touch of salinity, reflecting the unique characteristics of the Fourchaume vineyard. This is made from just over half of the estate’s 2.15 hectares in Fourchaume, from vines that are 50-60 years old. It manages to retain the density and earthy spice of Fourchaume without ever falling into exotic-fruit territory. The mid-palate is wrapped in a cashmere-textured fruit, and there’s a surprisingly mineral finish.

Winery Notes

This wine comes from Domaine Gérard Tremblay, a five-generation family-run estate in Chablis. The Fourchaume vineyard, one of Chablis’s most prestigious Premier Cru sites, lies just north of town—known for its sun-drenched slopes and Kimmeridgian limestone soils.

Food Pairing : Ideal with shellfish—like crab, lobster, or oysters—plus fish, seafood dishes, and can pair surprisingly well with richer options like foie gras or soft goat cheese.
