The 2023 Bernkasteler Lay Kabinett is fruit-intense and flinty on the nose that intertwines blue slate with ripe, intense and savory Mosel Riesling aromas. Round and almost rich on the palate, this is a mouth-filling, sweet, crystalline and saline-finishing Kabinett from the vineyard between the domaine and the village of Bernkastel. 9% stated alcohol.

Winemaker Notes

Aromatically the wine gently lifts from the glass with notes of candied green apples, fresh mint, and a chalky minerality. The palate is ripe with clementines, peaches, sea salt and honeyed lemons.
