Rich dark chocolate-covered cherry flavors are balanced by brawny tannins and enough acidity to get the juices flowing. This beautifully structured wine draws you in with alluring aromas of Bing cherry, rooibos tea, loamy earth, and graham cracker, with notions of cinnamon, clove, and wild herbs. On the palate, shapely, fine-grained tannins and energetic acidity add poise and verve to the red currant, raspberry and wild strawberry flavors as they build to a long, dramatic finish.
