Something that you may not know about me is that I owned a pizza shop in Hyde Park, Tampa for 23 years (too long). Those 23 years were, however, long enough to allow me the opportunity to meet Robert Schafer, the "Doc Brown" of all things crazy and big (at least he's my Doc Brown). When I met him he was totally sporting the hair, the personality, all of it minus the DeLorean. He also had a really freaking great wine portfolio to share with me. It was an instant match made in Wine Heaven. You could say I became his side-kick Marty, minus the skateboard. He became one of my best wine reps for the pizza shop and for my own personal collection before he became a very close friend too.

All that to say, I am very happy and excited to share his spectacular wine lineup for our upcoming tasting of Big, Crazy, California Cabernets!

All selections are highly rated and most very allocated. This is not for the faint of heart! From Macauley, TOR Kenward, Vice Versa and Abreu, he has all the tricks up his sleeve. Make sure you save this date and grab a ticket as they will be limited. Another fancy picnic, Redneck style, paired with the always delicious and wonderful Pane Rustica spread to boot.
