Black cherries, leafy and floral elements and hints of vanilla appear on the nose of the 2021 Space & Time, a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot off Pott's Mount Veeder estate. It's an elegant, medium to full-bodied wine, silky and framed by fine-grained tannins, finishing with hints of mocha.

The estate’s take on a Right Bank Bordeaux, the 2021 Space & Time checks in as 63% Cabernet Franc, 32% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a classy, medium to full-bodied, balanced, beautifully elegant style, as well as plenty of cassis and darker, raspberry-like fruits, some floral and spicy wood nuances, fine tannins, and a layered mouthfeel. I love it today yet it’s going to benefit from just 2-3 years of bottle age and keep for 15+ years.

Winemaker's Notes

As an unabashed lover of Cabernet Franc this is really the crown jewel of our beautiful Mt. Veeder estate. This wine is incredibly aromatic. The 2021 is dark blue tinged purple hews, with notes of wild blueberry, boysenberry pie, cigar box, iris, chocolate, espresso and violets on the nose. Notes of violet, lavender, cherry, blueberry and plum in a rush of rich attack leading to plums, tobacco and crushed rock in a black truffle finish. Taut, muscular fruit has a long, rich finish
